Christmas Day lunch and Hogmanay party (December 2014)

Now established in our Church calendar, a Christmas day lunch took place in the Carriage House, following the morning service, to provide food, fun and fellowship, primarily for those who might otherwise not have shared a meal with anyone on Christmas Day. We're seeking to build this event year on year and to encourage wider participation from the church and local community. At Hogmanay, groups from both Pencaitland Parish Church and our sister Church, Ormiston, got together for an all age, Church family party in the Carriage House. Food, games and funny film clips provided the focus and it was an enjoyable evening of camardarie and laughter which looks likely to be repeated in the years to come.
