Thank you
It was very kind of you all to remember the anniversary of my ordination. 1993 seems such a long time ago. And it was a lovely thought to mark it such a way - a special plate with all the signatures on it. What a great idea! We'll treasure that. Ann is also delighted with the flowers. A great surprise! Thank you so much.

It’s a BOY!
I am delighted to announce that I am now a big sister. Howie Paul Colgan was born on Tuesday, a little ahead of schedule weighing in at 6lb 15oz which is exactly how heavy I was! My Mummy Olivia and my Daddy Keith are delighted, as are Oma and Opa (aka Marilyn and Robert).
Love from
Amelie

Reaching Out.....and.....Helping Others!
Just before Easter Friday I visited the Food Bank in Dunbar Parish Church with the congregation’s contributions to helping those in need.  As always our bags of tinned food, personal hygiene and cleaning items were gratefully received and I was asked to pass on the appreciation of the team of Church volunteers to the congregation. Along with the donations from our Church, I also handed in five bulging bags of tinned food, cleaning and personal hygiene items, a hamper of chocolate treats and £60 in cash! Pencaitland Rainbows had heard that we as a Church support Dunbar Parish Church Food Bank and held a craft and cake sale in aid of this cause on the last night of term. The Rainbows donated all the items in the (very full) bags, raised the cash with their crafts and serving teas and coffees and the lady who won the raffle contributed her winning prize of a large hamper of chocolate sweets! (the cash will be used to buy fresh fruit and veg to augment the tinned foods given out). Not only have we, as a Church, reached out to help the hungry, our message has reached out to others in the village, who have in turn, reached out to help raise awareness of local hunger to little children, who then reached out to help in a very practical and giving manner. As you shop, please remember the people, of all ages, some unemployed, some on low incomes, some retired, who live not far from us and who struggle to feed not only themselves but their children too.
Pop an extra tin of something, perhaps a tube of toothpaste or  a bottle of washing up liquid in your shopping basket, bring it to Church then pop in our Food Bank tub, your contribution will make a huge difference to someone in need.
Thank you,
Annie Brown.
