In addition, please be aware Kathryn Reid (340654) is our pastoral care co-ordinator and either David or another elder will have charge of the church mobile (07543 872151) during holiday times.

Pray for Scotland
Pray for Scotland have asked that for the next 40 days up to Brexit, everyone would say the Lord’s Prayer and /or the 23rd Psalm every day at noon. Unified prayer for our nation has made a difference in the past and could do so again. Be part of it !

Planning Meeting
A meeting to plan for future joint-church youth events with the Scripture Union has been arranged for Wednesday 20 March at 7.30pm in Ormiston. We would be grateful for a good representation from both congregations so we can set dates and make plans for this year.

Reaching Out…..and…..Helping Others!
A big plea regarding our Food Bank donations!
Due to increased demand, (more and more genuine referrals) stocks are extremely low in Dunbar Parish Church / Edinburgh City Mission food bank and our help is urgently required.
All donations of tinned/dried/packet food are welcome as are cleaning materials and personal hygiene items.
Particularly needed at the moment are the following items:
tins of mince, haggis, spaghetti, rice pudding, custard, potatoes, sweetcorn, size 5 nappies, toilet rolls, shampoo and toothbrushes.
As you shop, please pick up one extra item and pop it in our Food Bank container, someone, not too far from here, will be very, very thankful for your kindness and generosity.
Annie Brown.
