Our "live" Sunday worship services are currently on alternate weeks in Pencaitland and Ormiston. These are at the earlier time of 9.30am and are followed by "online devotions" at 10.45am on Zoom. Act of Remembrance - Sunday 8th November at 12.30

Sunday 8 November 2020 - Online Act of Remembrance 12.30pm

Due to current restrictions, there will be no Remembrance Service in the church building this year. Nor will there be any public Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial. Instead, a pre-recorded Act of Remembrance will be shown on Youtube from 12.30pm. Wreaths will have been placed at the War Memorial earlier by a small group of community representatives, and we invite you to share in this event online. It can be easily accessed through the church website (see article above) or directly through the church Youtube channel by entering a search for ‘Pencaitland Parish Church Remembrance’ on Youtube, which will lead you to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFM5EHR3AFI

Christmas Fair

Sadly, we have had to cancel our annual Christmas Fair this year. This is not because we want to but because it’s important that anything we do is done safely and, with the unpredictability of the current situation, plus the need for people to be organised in good time (there’s a lot of planning and preparation goes into hosting it), it was felt wiser to make the decision at this stage. We are very grateful to those who have been preparing things for sale over the last months and are sorry not to be able to proceed as originally hoped.

Coronavirus Prayer for Australia

SCOTT MORRISON'S CORONAVIRUS PRAYER FOR AUSTRALIA

'Heavenly father, we commit our nation to you.

'In this terrible time of great need and suffering for so many people.

'And we do this also for the entire world, places far from this country there are people suffering even more, going through tremendous hardship, crying out, we pray you'll hear their voice.

'Pray you'll deliver them, that you'll send them peace and that you'll send them comfort and you'll send them strength in this time of great, great need.
